ION 9000 Overview
The Prisma SD-WAN Instant-On Network (ION) models, such as the PAN-CG-ION-9000, are designed to enhance WAN connectivity and performance, improve security and compliance, and reduce WAN complexity and costs. The ION 9000 is tailored for multi-gigabit remote office data centers and large campus environments.
Key Features:
- Deep SD-WAN Analysis: Provides comprehensive insights into WAN health and performance, aiding in network planning, problem resolution, and analytics.
- Network DVR License: Optional license for retaining up to 90 days of statistics, policy, configuration, alarms, and alerts.
- WAN Reporting License: Optional license for access to auto-generated and downloadable reports on utilization trends and network hotspots.
- Zone-based Firewall License: Includes an application-based, zone-based firewall (ZBFW) for securing the WAN perimeter and segmenting traffic within branch sites. Can integrate with on-premises security devices or external, hosted security services.
- Prisma SD-WAN CloudBlades: Platform for API-based integration of the branch CPE, providing centralized programming and app-flow engine at the CPE, access to SD-WAN telemetry, and secure authenticated API access.
- High Availability (HA): Features an industry-leading HA deployment model ensuring 100% WAN capacity even in case of a device failure.
